Café con Cariño is a women & migrant owned pop-up business serving Latin-American inspired food & coffee.
Our coffee project aims to change our collective perceptions of the role of cafés. A coffee shop can be more than a place you go to for a beverage—we can utilize them as central hubs for resource sharing, showcasing art, gathering, and organizing our communities.
Our vision of a cafe prioritizes abundance and contributes to an economic landscape that is not exploitative and harmful.
We are passionate about reintegrating the coffee shop with a radical commitment to service and community investment.
Our Offerings
Syrups + Sauces
Flavor is always at the center of our coffee program. When we brainstorm and experiment in the kitchen— we are attempting to tell a story of our connection to Latin America, and our diasporic experiences living as migrants in the U.S.Coffee + Tea
We source our coffee from Proyecto Diaz, using their phenomenal espresso roast Mayan Harvest. We have a carefully crafted menu of espresso based drinks, cold brew, and tea- priding ourselves in the balance between traditional and playful. Food + Sweets
Thanks to the Oakland Bloom Open Test Kitchen program, we've been able to use their kitchen to develop sweet and savory treats like our Salvadoran Quesadillas, and coming soon-- Chilean inspired empanadas!
